Privacy Policy – Business Gap Finder

Business Gap Finder is an app by babala.ch (Ares Ege Özdemir, Switzerland). We designed the app to work with as little data as possible.

What the app processes

• Location. When you start an analysis, the app uses your current location or a place you pick on the map. The coordinates are rounded to about 100 metres. Only these rounded coordinates are sent to our server gapfinder.babala.ch to count how many people live around that point. The server does not store the coordinates or link them to you.
• Map searches. To find existing businesses, the app searches Apple Maps directly on your device. Apple's privacy policy applies to these searches.
• Reports are saved only on your device. You can delete them in the app at any time.

What we do not do

• No account, no registration.
• No advertising, no tracking, no analytics SDKs.
• No sale or sharing of data with third parties.

Server logs

To protect the service against abuse, our server keeps the IP address of requests for at most 24 hours (rate limiting). It is not used for any other purpose.
